The Company is a subsidiary company of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia 3 (Persero) or Pelindo 3, a foremost state-owned ports service company in Indonesia. Pelindo 3 owned 95% shares and other 5% remaining shares owned by Koperasi Pegawai Pelindo 3. PT Pelindo Marine Service was formed in 2011 as a spin off results of Shipping Units in Pelindo 3. The Company is based in Surabaya East Java and supported by 2 shipyards, namely Shipyard Surabaya and Shipyard Semarang.

- Mualim (MU)
- Masinis (MS)
- Juru Mudi (JI)
- Juru Motor (JR)
- Have a minimum diploma:
- ANT-V (preferably ANT-IV) for MU
- ATT-V (preferably ATT-IV) for MS
- ANT-D for JI
- ATT-D for JR
- Minimum 2 years experience, preferably having experience for propagator "Harbour Tug";
- Maximum age 40 years
- Have a valid seaman book
