MUD Engineer (Drilling Fluids)
Jakarta Raya

Requirements:

1. Analytical Thinking and Decision Making 
2. Customer Service
3. Data and Trend Analysis
4. Inventory Management
5. Operational Planning
6. Very good Oral & Written Communication (English)
7. Proficiency in MS applications
8. Qualification / Education
9. Minimum 3 years mud eng. experience
10. University Degree
11. Ability to work offshore (offshore experience is plus)
12. Strong domain understanding of Drilling, Completion and work over fluid systems such as (NAF, HPWBM, NDF, KCl/Glycol/Soltex)
13. Solids control equipment & filtration equipment knowledge definite plus.
14. Experience in ERD / HPHT / Horizontal / Multilateral wells is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Under limited supervision, provides onsite services to the operator by measuring, testing, and supervising the running of fluid mixing and pumping, including technical analysis and specific recommendations for controlling fluid properties. 
• May serve as the lead drilling fluids specialist at a customer rig site, may accompany sales representatives in customer presentations, reconcile product usage with warehouse supplies.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• To provide onsite services to the operator, reporting to Project Engineer.
• Make recommendations concerning solids control processes to ensure the equipment is optimized for economic solids removal.
• Maintain environmental discharge and consumption records as required by legislation or client.
• Comply with company and customer health and safety procedures.
• Follow daily reporting processes and procedures.
• Monitor daily drilling operations to reduce or eliminate problems associated with drilling mud.
• Sell and influence clients' decision in buying the optimal M-I SWACO products and systems to maintain the necessary mud properties.
